Introducing our program

In the Mayura 2023 sale, we bought a heifer to grow the Norlin Wagyu herd. We bought a heifer that is as complete as they come. A partnership between Macquarie Wagyu and Mayura Station led to Mayura Quartz ADBFQ0163
He is a Coats Itoshigenami G133 son on one of Mayura station’s best cows. She has 3 carcasses that average a Marbling score of 9, EMA 105cm (10/11th rib), and CWT 467.

The dam ADBFM0359 is a Mayura Itoshigenami Jnr daughter, Jnr who is the carcass king of wagyu. Itoshigefuji TF147 is the maternal grandsire. All the way back in the maternal line you find Hikohime 3.

Besides the very well-rounded breeding. We found her structural soundness, with a nice topline and set of legs.

We are very happy with the purpose of Mayura S2629

In 2023 we also added a Heifer from HP Wagyu HPEF22T0217.
She is a Sanjinami Doi daughter out of the proven Mayura L32 cow. I have seen both L32 and L82 Sanjimani Dois dam at HP Wagyu. Its some really nice animals, and is what i wanted i our herd.

T217 Has proven very valuable with the progenies she has already produces. Both in Heifers and our coming bull NOWF25W0034 - Tensho.

In Europe its hard to get outside genetics in since they updated the rules for semen and embryos in 2023.

Therefore when we had the option to add a Shigeshigetani and Yasufuku Jr heifer in Europe to our herd, we took it.
With WDEF23U7597 we got as close to Shigeshigetani as you can get with the heifer.
WDEF23U682, we got a clean line of Yasufuku Jr and Michifuku, so we have open options in breeding forward.

In 2025 we added the newest animal from Mayura with U70 out of Mayura Notorious. She is intended to bring marbling, taste into our herd.
